James F. Sanders, 76 of Hope died May 7, 2016 at Miller's
Merry Manor in Hope.
Before retirement he was an engineer in the mechanical
engineering industry.
He was a good artist and loved woodworking.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
Born July 30, 1939 in Winslow, IN, James was the son of
Charles Franklin Sanders and Dorothy Jean Butler Sanders.
He is survived by children, Clindy (Kenneth J.) Kersey of
Columbus, Chris Sanders of Greencastle and James Patrick
(Sarah) Sanders of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Jacob
(Jennifer Hutchings) Livingston of Ankara, Turkey, Jennifer
(Blake) Dunn of Gnaw Bone and Martha Kathryn Phillips
of Columbus; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Clarinda (Ray)
Taylor of Carmel, John ( Stacey) Sanders of Greensburg, PA,
and Martha Sanders of Pasadena, CA.
Cremation is planned and there will be no services. Jame's
cremains will be buried at Cloverdale Cemetery at a later date.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,
Charles Sanders.
Arrangements were through Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
