James Richard Scrogham, 57 of Columbus died Monday Nov. 7, 2011 at Hospice
of South Central Indiana.
He had worked at Cosco/Dorel in Columbus. He attended Hope Moravian Church.
He enjoyed working on Chevrolet vehicles and fixing things.
The service will be Wenesday at 5:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Ed Boston
officiating. Calling will be today from 3:00 p.m until service time. Cremation is planned.

home.
Born in Bartholomew County on Oct. 15, 1954, James was the son of Omer D. and Mary Ferguson
Scrogham. He married Sally Shaffer on May 22, 1977 in Columbus, IN and she survives.
Other survivors are his mother, Mary Scrogham of Florida; daughters, Rachel Scrogham
DePoy (Anthony) of West Lafayette, IN and Eve Scrogham Esch (William) of Columbus, Ohio;
grandchildren, Larkin and Corbin Depoy and Ella Esch; siblings, Charles (Kay) Scrogham of Seymour,
Shirley Blair of Florida, Mildred Blair of Columbus, Tom (Fonda) Scrogham of Virginia, Annabell
(Jerry) Gibson of Maryland, Caroline (Richard) Caswell of Florida, Darrell (Kathy) Scrogham of Columbus,
and Marvin (Lois) Scrogham of Brown County.
James was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Patricia Scrogham and a half brother, Junior Scrogham.
