Janice Lee Dykes, 65 of Greensburg, died Monday January 4 at 8:10 am.
She was retired.
She attended Hope Community Church of God. She loved fishing, sewing and spending time with grandkids and great grandkids.
The funeral will be Thursday January 7 at 1:00 pm at Free Will Baptist Church in Milford, IN with Pastors Leroy Reed and Gerald Hancock officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 - 1:00 at the church. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery near Greensburg. Norman Funeral Home in Hope are handling the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Hospice of Decatur County or American Cancer Society.
Born on May 18, 1944 in Greensburg, Ms. Dykes was the daughter of Harry "Johnny" and Helen Marie Davis Morgan. They preceded her in death. She graduated from St. Paul High School in 1962.
Survivors include; a daughter, Theresa (David) Reed of Greensburg; a son, Scott (Missy) Dykes of Greensburg; grandchildren, Matthew and Anthony Tatman and Zackery Reed all of Greensburg; great grandchildren, Lillian and Landon Tatman of Greensburg; sisters, Bonnie Smith of Ohio, Carol Wiseman of Greensburg and Evelyn Shelp of Nashville and a brother, Richard Morgan of Greensburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
