Jerry W. Horne, 72 Of Columbus died Saturday Feb. 21 at his home. Mr. Horne had worked as a mechanic for the State of Indiana for several years. A graveside service will be conducted today at 2:00p.m at Hope Moravian Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Reeves officiating. Born in Bartholomew Co. March 7, 1936, Mr. Horne was the son of Wilbur and Beulah Robertson Horne. Survivors include a son Jerry D. Horne of Columbus ; step daughters DiannaMerritt of Hope and Jeanie White of Reddington; stepson Tom Young of North Vernon ;a brother Donald Horne of Columbus and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Donnie Paul Horne and his previous wife Lillie Skinner Horne on Jan. 14, 2001.
