Joel S. Sitko, 60, of Hope died at 6:00 p.m. Sunday January 23, 2011 at his home
Mr. Sitko was a truck driver for Eagle Express for several years.
The funeral will be conducted at 2: 30 p.m. Sunday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with his son Brad Douglas officiating. Calling will be on
Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joel Sitko memorial fund thru the funeral home.
Born in Ashland Wisconsin February 16, 1950, he was the son of Stanley and Margaret Skaugerud Sitko. He married Judith Bunting Douglas on Februaty 13, 1987, and she survives.
Other survivors include children Michelle Sitko-Brantley of New Albany, Joel D. (Jamie) Sitko of Cave City, Ky, Paul (Susan) Bunting and Brad (Debbie) Douglas both of Greensburg; grandchildren Nakiah Brantley, Matthew Jones, Preston Sitko, Luke, Michaela, Christiana , Noa , Melissa and Vanessa Bunting and Zechariah and Andrew Douglas; sisters Valerie Sitko-Ancell of Ashburn, Va and Lorie Ripley of Calcott , Tenn.
Mr. Sitko was preceded in death by his parents.
