John E. Harker, 92 of Flat Rock passed away Saturday
December 13, 2014 at Miller's Merry Manor.

Before retiring, he was a farmer.

He was a lifelong member of the Hope Moravian Church,
a member of the Norristown Chapter of Masons and a
member of the Scottish Rites.

John was born March 5, 1922 in Hope. He was the son of
Harry E. and Eva Reed Harker. He married Ruth Worrell
September 13, 1941 and she preceded him in death May 8, 2010.

The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Hope Moravian
Church with Pastor Andy Kilps officiating. Visitation will be
Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be donated to Hope Moravian
Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.

Survivors include; children, Harry(Darlene) Harker of Hope,
Phillip(Sharron) Harker of Flat Rock, Dr. John David(Barbara)
Harker of Hope, Joe(Debbie) Harker of Waldron, Linda(Ted)
Finke of Hope and Brenda Embry of Gilbert, AR; twenty two
grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren and two great-
great grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his wife, parents,a son,
Dennis Harker and a sister, Katherine Stewart.
