Johnnie Melvin Sinclair, 82, of Waldron passed away Tuesday February 5, 2008 at 3:00 am, at the Waldron Health Care Center.
Mr. Sinclair was retired as a mechanic for the State Highway Garage and he was an avid fisherman.
Born on June 8, 1925 in Columbia, Ky he was the son of Charles & Patra Bailey Sinclair.
The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 am at Norman Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Arnett officiating. Visitation will be today from 4 -8 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy(Billy) Stevens of Columbus, Debbie(Paul) Jacobs and Shirley(Michael) Sinclair of Shelbyville; sons, Eddie(Dianna) Sinclair of Edinburgh, Jimmy(Ruby) Sinclair and Jonathon(Cindy) Sinclair of Shelbyville; and a sister, Mattilou Neat of Columbia, Ky.
Mr. Sinclair was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alva, Toby, and Ewing Sinclair; sisters, Thelma Warren and Pearl Campbell and a grandson Rodney Alan Brumett.
