Jon C. Bolander's Obituary
Jon C. Bolander, 58 of Greensburg died Friday August
15 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Born June 15, 1956 in Shelbyville, IN, he was the son of
Chester and Sarah Jane Essex Bolander.
He is sirvived by siblings, Mark Bolander of Hope, Mandy
(Jon) Betzner of Bunker Hill, IN and Angie (Kevin) Mahoney
of Hope; nieces, Sarah and Nick Betzner and Emerald Bolander;
first cousins, Deryl Bolander and Phyllis Riche, both of Columbus;
a step mother, Helen Bolander of Hope and many close friends and
loved ones.
He had been employed in construction.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Jon was a great outdoorsman who loved gardening, fishing,
mushroom hunting and living off the land. He also enjoyed jigsaw
puzzles.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of Jon's life is planned.
A day and time will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be donated to the American Cancer
Society or the National Arbor Foundation through the funeral home.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susan Bolander
and grandparents, Homer and Frieda Essex and Charles and Grace
Bolander.
