Jon "J.T." Dooley, 65 of Hope passed away Monday February 24, 2025 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.

Born April 26, 1959 in Shelbyville Jon was the son of Lyman E. Dooley, Jr. and Martha A. Hatton Dooley.

He was self employed in the pest control business.

Jon had previously attended Wesley Chapel in St. Paul.

He loved music and going to concerts

Jon is survived by a son, Jonathan Dooley (Miranda Waldeck) of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Liam Dooley, James Dooley, Aubrey Dooley and their mother, Stephanie Barber, all of Greensburg; siblings, Lyman Michael Dooley of New Palestine and Kathy Veercamp of Waldron and his former wife, Sharon Dooley of Shelbyville.

Visitation for Jon will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope and on Friday from 10 until service time of 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents.
