Joshua Conner Chasteen, 16, of Hope passed away Sunday January 10, 2021.

Born November 29, 2004 in Beckley, West Virginia, Joshua was the son of Dennis D. and Constance L. Wilkinson Chasteen.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Sean (Alissa) Chasteen of Pennsylvania, Seth Chasteen (Lacey) of West Virginia and Jude Chasteen of Hope; nephew, Ledger Chasteen; niece, Berkley Chasteen; grandparents, William and Della Chasteen, Cindy (Rick) Yeager and Tony (Rebecca) Wilkinson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joshua was a sophomore at Hauser High School.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hope.  He enjoyed fishing, computer gaming and all things about law enforcement.

There will be a drive through visitation Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by an outdoor memorial service at the Gathering Fields one mile south of Hope on the west side of St. Rd. 9.  Arrangements for Joshua were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to Bartholomew County F.O.P., Earl L. Brown Lodge 89, P.O. Box 204, Columbus, IN 47202, or C.O.P.S. of Bartholomew County.

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice "Peachy" Manning.
