Karen S. Yarnell, 64 of Columbus died Wednesday
April 13, 2016 at Franciscan St. Francis Health Facility in
Greenwood.
In Karen's earlier years she was employed in a physician's
office doing clerical work.
She was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her family.
Karen's wishes were to be cremated and there will not be
any services, but a  private family dinner.
If anyone would like to make a memorial in memory of Karen,
donations can be sent to Norman Funeral Home to help defray
her funeral expenses.
Born August 18, 1951 in Shelbyville, Karen was the daughter
of the late Lawrence "Jim" Miller and Mary Grace Kissling Miller.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Grace Miller of Hope;
a daughter, Christa (Steve) Doty of Cave City, KY; a son, Jeff
(Heather) Yarnell of Columbus; sisters, Brenda (Larry) Lucas of
Columbus, LuAnne James of Largo, FL and Lynn (Jim) Cook of
Hope; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and 2 nieces.
Karen was preceded in death by her father; granddaughter,
Danielle Doty and a brother in law, Ed James.
Arrangements were made by Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
