Karla Kaye Grubbs, 67 of Columbus died Saturday August 28, 2010 at Hospice
of South Central Indiana.
She was a nurse and had graduated from I.U. School of Nursing in 1969. She had worked at
hospitals in California, Indianapolis and Columbus. She was a member of the Osgood Baptist Church.
She loved stamp collecting and reading and was very artistic.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with
Evelyn Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 until service time of 7:00 on Thursday. Cremation
is planned.

Born February 27, 1943 in Beech Grove, IN, Karla was the daughter of Carl and Leila Richardson
Grubbs.
She is survived by her sister, Donna (William) Kreinhop of Hope; nieces, Alixia (Jim) Worman of
Greenwood and Kristina (Brent) Burns of Beech Grove; great niece, Anabel Burns of Beech Grove and
great nephew, Nolan Burns of Beech Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
