Kathryn Maxine Gearhart, 83 of Greensburg died Monday March 2, 2009 at Arbor Grove Village at Greensburg. Mrs. Gearhart was a former Shelby County resident. Born Sept 28, 1925 in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of Earl R and Sarah D Rome Keller . She married Melvin E. Gearhart on Oct. 31, 1953. he preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1987. Suvivors include a son Joe (wife Shila) Gearhart of Hope; a grandson Joseph Allen Gearhart of Westport and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Ralph, Donald , Earl J. and Robert D. Keller. Mrs. Gearhart had worked at the former Hope Cleaners and The Shelby Manor.She attended the First Wesleyan Chruch in Hope. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service will at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Boston officiating.
