Kathryn Louise Schooley, 60, of Hope, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care.
She spent most of her life as a housewife and a stay-at-home mom.
Kathryn enjoyed riding bicycles and crocheting. She loved flowers and her cats and dogs.
Born on May 2, 1957 in Indianapolis, Kathryn was the daughter of Robert C. and Rose M. Huber Hoover. She married Timothy Wayne Schooley on December 23, 1982 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2012.
Survivors include son, Chris Schooley of Hope; parents, Robert and Rose Hoover of Columbus; siblings, Anna Long of Columbus and John (Lisa) Long of Hope; step-brothers, Tim (Esta) Hoover of Cloverdale, IN and Jeff (Jeanette) Hoover of Brownsburg; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband.
Cremation is planned. Inurnment will be at Garland Brook at a later date.
