Kayla N. Hobbs, 20 of North Vernon died Friday July 27, 2012
at St Vincent Jennings Hospital.
A celebration of Kayla's life will be held Friday August 3 from
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Vernon Baptist Church Gymnasium in Vernon. Memorials
may given to Kayla's mother Sheila Hobbs to help with her funeral expenses.
Kayla always wore mismatched socks, so in her honor her
family is asking that everyone wear mismatched socks to the celebration. Kayla
also loved music and to go to concerts
Born in Roswell, N.M. on Dec. 18, 1991 she was the daughter of
Sheila Hobbs of North Vernon.
Other survivors include an sister Ashley Hobbs of North Vernon,
grandmothers Donna Hobbs of North Vernon and Peggy Griffin of Farmington,
N.M.; uncles Tony Hobbs of Houston, Robert Hobbs of Idaho, Dennis Hobbs of
North Vernon and Brian Hobbs of Conneticut, Shannon Frear and Matthew Hobbs of north Vernon; aunts Teresa Johnson and Kathy
Hobbs of Idaho and Leah Hobbs of Columbus; nephew Landyn Porter, of North Vernon and a brother-in- Neil Brown of
North Vernon
Kayla was preceded in death by grandfather Kenneth Hobbs and her baby
Aiden Hobbs.
