She was baptized in the Christian faith at the Hope Baptist Church.
A service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hawcreek Church, 900 E. & Stafford Rd. Hope, IN. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions may be given to Norman Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to all of Kelly's "helping angels," Dr. Cole, oncologist, and Dr. Eaton, radiologist, at Shelbyville Hospital for their care and love during her many months of cancer treatments there. They would also like to thank Hawcreek Mennonite Church for their assistance.
A special thanks to Elizabeth Paetzel, who served as her mother's caregiver throughout Kelly's long struggle with cancer.
