Kenneth Harold Worrell, 93 of Jeffersonville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday October 8, 2008 at 7:45 pm at his home. He was retired from being a school bus mechanic in Greater Clark Co. School System. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville,Ky and taught Sunday school for many years. The funeral will be conducted on Sunday October 12 at 3:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Jerry Day Sr. officiating. Calling will be on Sunday from 1:00- 3:00. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery. Memorials may be donated to Walnut Street Baptist Church at 1101 S. 3rd St., Louisville, Ky. 40203 or Hosparus (Hospice of Southern IN) at 624 E. Market St., New Albany, IN 47150-2914. Born in Orleans, IN,on October 22, 1914, Mr. Worrell was the son of Glenn Oliver and Gail Louise Foutch Worrell. He graduated from Hope High School in 1931. He married Rita Nelle Minor September 7, 1940 in Columbus, IN. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Karen L.(George) Worrell Weber of Jeffersonville; a son, Thomas C.(Pi) Worrell of Louisiana; a sister, Ruth Harker of Flat Rock, IN; a brother, Bob Worrell of Knoxville, TN; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steve M. Worrell; sisters, Marge Simmons and Mildred McNeely and brothers, Glenn Worrell Jr. and Don Worrell
