Kevin Neal Pierce, 51 of Hope passed away Sunday Feb. 3 at 1:37 a.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He was employed at Interstate Brands since 1980 where he worked as a
maintenance engineer. He was a member of Hope Masonic Lodge and loved spending time
with his family and friends and working in his garage on several projects.
Born January 30, 1957 in Seymour, IN, he was the son of Carl E. and Eileen F.
Kamke Pierce, both of Hope. He married Karen Renee Erdman on July 7, 1977 at the First
Baptist Church of Hope and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Angela M.( Craig) Whittington of Hope; a son, Matthew N. Pierce of Hope; grandchildren, Cade and Kevin Whittington both of Hope; a brother, Allen F.(Connie) Pierce of Hope; 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
The funeral will be at 1:30 Wednesday February 6 at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with the Rev. Ed Fryman officiating. Calling will be today from 4 to 8 p.m with a masonic memorial service at 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to Mr. Pierce's grandchildren Cade and Kevin Whittington's college fund thru the funeral home.
