Larry G. Christy, 69 of Columbus passed away Tuesday
December 24, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

He was retired as a machine repairman at Cummins Engine
Company where he worked for over 31 years.

He was a member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd Church. He enjoyed sprint cars on dirt and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Rev. Bill Tennyson officiating. Visitation
will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and monday from 9:30 until
service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to the American Heart
Association or the Chapel of the Good Shepherd Church through
the funeral home.

Born September 26, 1944 in Bartholomew County, Mr. Christy
was the son of John and Ruth Hall Christy. He married Sue Beeker
June 29, 1962 at the St. Louis Crossing Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of Columbus; children Tony(Michele)Christy of Columbus, Lisa(Kyle) Zollman of Columbus, Lori(Terry)Embry of Hope, Scott(Brenda) Christy of Columbus; grandchildren Tiffany and Justin Zollman of Columbus, Amanda and Ryan Christy of Columbus, Kelli (Jeremy) Smith of Columbus, Skylar Christy of Columbus and Taylor and Haley Embry of Hope; a brother Garry(Judi)Christy of Hope; a sister Phyllis Robles of Arizona.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Russell
Christy, Byron Christy and Gordan Christy and a sister Nadine Christy.
