Obituary

Larry Gearhart, 67, of Greensburg, died Thursday,
May 5, 2016 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
He worked at Gearhart Grain and Burney Grain. He
managed Milford Grocery and worked for local farmers.
Larry was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in
Adams and Amazing Grace Church.
He loved fishing, putting together puzzles, and being
outdoors. He also liked IU Basketball and wrestling. Larry
enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Born October 26, 1948 in Shelbyville, Larry was the
son of Allen H. and Edna M. Sharp Gearhart.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Norman
Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Keith Dover officiating.
Burial will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery in Hope. Visitation
will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Our Hospice
of South Central Indiana or Special Olympics.
Survivors include; siblings, Robert Wright of Missouri,
George Earl (Doris) Gearhart of St. Paul, James Gearhart
and Rebecca Gearhart, both of Shelbyville, Mary (Jim Romero)
DeWeese of Geneva, Mark (Diana) Gearhart of Greensburg,
Edith (Keith) Scott of Shelbyville, Rick (Teresa Million)
Gearhart of Columbus, Louella (Tim) Hirschauer of
Shelbyville, and Adrian Gearhart of Kentucky; uncle,
Harold (Maurita) Gearhart of Columbus; and several
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a
brother, Eugene Gearhart.
