Larry K. Pittman's Obituary
Larry K. Pittman, 65 of Hope died wednesday February 17, 2010 at 7:30 am at Columbus Health and Rehab. Center.
He was employed at Cummins Tech Center doing electronic calibration of equipment.
He was a member of the Newbern United Methodist Church.
He loved Astronomy and hand held radios. He had volunteered with Emergency Management as a radio operator.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Morris Hannah officiating. Calling will be on Friday from 4:00-8:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the Newbern United Methodist Church.
Born on November 25, 1944 in Greensburg, IN, Mr. Pittman was the son of Jean K. and Leora R. Herrman Pittman. He graduated from Hauser High School and from Indiana University with a degree in Astro Physics.
Survivors include a sister, Betty Lou Pittman of Columbus; two aunts, one uncle and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
