Laura L Vangorden's Obituary
Laura L. VanGorden, 92 of Flat Rock died Monday Dec. 12, 2011 at
Franklin United Methodist Home.
Mrs. VanGorden was a member of the Flat Rock United Methodist Church.
She love cooking and gardening. She retired as a school cook
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2: 00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home
in Hope with the Rev. Leslie Fix officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m.
until service time. Burial will be at Norristown Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Norristown Cemetery thru the funeral
home.
Mrs. VanGorden was born Nov. 20, 1919 in Brunswick, In. She was the
daughter of James Tilman and Lu Graham. She married Henry Dustin Van Gorden in
1947 and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Mrs. VanGorden is survived by a son Jim (Diane) VanGorden of Flat Rock.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter Mary Jane VanGorden;
a sister Geraldine Seward and brothers Thomas and Jack Graham.
