Lenora "Nodie" Dodd, 81, of Indianapolis, formerly of Hope, died Monday, August 13, 2018, at Franciscan Hospice House.
Nodie was born on January 4, 1937. She married Sam Dodd on July 4, 1985, and he preceded her in death in June of 1986.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker. Nodie attended Greenwood Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Charles Williams.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Franciscan Hospice House or Greenwood Bible Baptist Church.
