Linda R. Bell, 76 of Columbus passed away Monday April 29, 2024 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Facility.

Born January 30, 1948 in Indianapolis she was the daughter of Clarence and Goldie Mae Howard Douglas.  She married Forrest Wayne Bell June 15, 1975 and he survives.

Linda was a member of Columbus Baptist Church.

She enjoyed reading and fishing and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda's survivors include her husband Wayne of Columbus; children, Everett Brummett, Jr. of Columbus, Denise (Mark) Sisson of Hope and Scott D. Bell of Columbus; grandchildren, Nakkita Elliott of Columbus, Denise (Chad) Bowman of Ohio and Charlie Bell of Michigan City; great grandchildren, Zoe Wicker and Amaylee Elliott both of Columbus; brothers, Bill Douglas of Shelbyville and Charles Douglas of Napoleon and several nieces and nephews.

There will be visitation for Linda Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Columbus Baptist Church at 4821 N U.S. 31, Columbus, IN 47201.  A funeral service will follow at 1:00 and will be conducted by Pastor Chuck Kennedy.  Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.  Norman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Linda.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence H., Raymond, and Morris Douglas and sister, Sadie Kuwamoto.
