Linda Jane Geraldean Baker, 75 of Hope passed away Wednesday March 27, 2024 at her home.

Born December 30, 1948 in Munich, Germany she was the daughter of Gerald Murray and Ursula Schaetsler Murray.  She married Jim "Ronnie" Baker July 12, 1969 and he survives.

Linda was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope.

She had previously been employed at Adesa Car Auction as a driver.

Linda enjoyed painting by number projects, drawing and listening to her favorite music.

Survivors of Linda include, her husband, Jim "Ronnie" Baker of Hope; children, Hannelore Dawn Murray of Hayward, CA, James R. Baker, Jr. of Columbus, Dale E. (Shauna) Baker of Seymour and Hannelore (Alexis) Baker of Hope; grandchildren, James Baker (Alisha) of Elizabethtown, Trevor Lee of Greensburg, Timothy C. Baker of Columbus, Savannah (Jaylin) Mercer of Seymour, Danika Fields of Seymour, Audrey Bush and Weston Baker both of Hope; great grand children, Seanna Baker and Eli, both of Elizabethtown; sisters, Teresa Carney of Dunedin, FL. and Hannelore Hutter of Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday April 1 from 4 to 7 pm at First Baptist Church of Hope, 455 Jackson St., Hope, IN 47246.  A funeral service will be at 7:00 pm and will be conducted by Pastor Dennis Chasteen.  Cremation will follow service.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clint Baker and a sister, Gerry Reinki.
