Linda Ruth Poe, 77, of Hope passed away April 7, 2024 at Astral of Franklin Health Facility.

Born January 3, 1947 in Athol, Ky she was the daughter of Matt and Laura Harris Watkins.  She married Steven Poe and he preceded her in death December 27, 2022.

Linda attended Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville

She enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed going to flea markets.

Linda is survived by children Darold (Pam) Johnson of Sharonville, OH, Debbie (Jim) Pitzer of Wanamaker, IN and Cameron (Jessica) Poe of Hope; grandchildren, Elaine Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson, Grace Johnson, Courtney Pitzer, Marissa Pitzer, Gabby Pitzer, Madelyn Poe and Jillian Poe; four great grandchildren; siblings, Gloria (Tom) Caudill of Franklin and Nada Taylor of TN and several nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband and nine siblings.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Linda's life Saturday April 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church, 505 W. Pennsylvania St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Linda's service arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
