Lizzie Louise Browning, 87 of Columbus passed away December 2, 2021 at her residence.

Born October 4, 1934 in Terre Haute, IN she was the daughter of William Homer Shaw and Maggie Jane Brooks Shaw.  She married Rex Browning March 5, 1954 and he preceded her in death May 31, 2005.

Lizzie retired from Arvins after 39 years of service.

Lizzie was a member of the First Christian Church in Columbus.

She enjoyed quilting, reading and watching action movies.

Lizzie is survived by daughters, Deborah Burke and Dawn Browning of Columbus and Elizabeth (Paul) Chastain of Springboro, Ohio; grandchildren, Timothy Burke (Heather Pruitt) and Zane Browning of Columbus; great grandchildren, Mark Ashcroft, Jr. of Columbus and Jesse Hamm of Springboro, Ohio; siblings, Everett (Norma) Shaw and Carol Shaw of Terre Haute and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Lizzie will be held Tuesday December 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to donors choice of charity for Dementia.

Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers William, Donald and Willard Shaw; sister, Juanita Bidaman and granddaughter, Rebecca Hamm.
