Lloyd L. Douglas, 80, of Franklin passed away Wednesday September 20, 2023 at Franciscan Health.

Born May 18, 1943 in Shelby County he was the son of Robert H. and Mignon Banks Douglas.  He married Susan Owens October 12, 1973 and she preceded him in death June 2, 2018.

Lloyd retired from Indiana State Highway Department.

He was a member of St. Johns and Camon Masonic Lodges where he was very active.

He was a man of Christian faith and had attended and supported many different churches.

He enjoyed woodworking and had made many wooden bowls.

Lloyd is survived by siblings, Marilyn (Richard) Ferguson of Lebanon and Stephen (Carol) Douglas of Denver, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service for Lloyd Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.

If anyone would like to give a monetary donation in memory of Lloyd, it may be donated to Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan; sister, Ellen Marie Douglas and brothers, Peter Lynn Douglas and Donald Vernon Douglas.
