Lorena "Janie" Gibson's Obituary
Lorena "Janie" Gibson, 67 of Hope passed away Saturday October 12, 2013 at Willow Crossing Health Care Center.
She had been employed by Flat Rock Hawcreek School Corporation as a custodian.
She was a member of Hartsville Church of Christ.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
The funeral will be
Tuesday at 2:00 p.m
. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Born August 27, 1945 in Hope, Janie was the daughter of Ralph and Ollie West Croddy.
Survivors include a son Kevin (Amy) Gibson of Shelbyville; a daughter, Kim Gibson of Hope; grandchildren, Becky Daniels of Columbus, Katie Daniels of Indianapolis and Shelby Gibson of Shelbyville; a sister Sandra (Dick) Long of Conneticutt.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson Nathan; a sister Reva Croddy and brothers Sonny and Vernon Croddy.
