Loretta Mae Burch 86 of North Vernon , formerly of Hope passed away
Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Jennings Health Center.
Mrs. Burch had worked at Vernco, Art's Cleaners, and had been a meat
cutter at Farmer's Meat Market in Columbus and Clouse's Store in Hope. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and served on the Hope Town Board. She loved to
quilt, do canning, cross stitch, make noodles and play bingo.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Bible Church of
Columbus with the Rev. Jerry K.Day Sr. officiating. Calling will be at the church on Thursday
from 10:00 a.m until service time . Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Church of Columbus missions or building funds.

Born in Rockcreek township November 19, 1921 , she was the daughter of Henry and Emma Truex Henderson. She married Arnold Burch on Oct 1, 1976 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1999.
Survivors include daughters Janet ( Glenn) Parton of Franklin and Betty
M. Walls of Columbus, a son Russell Eugene Ritz of Columbus, grandchildren Dale Ritz,
Jimmie Parton and Teresa (Steve) Zeilinga all of Franklin, Billy Parton of North Vernon, Joanna (Mike) Spaulding of West Chester, Ohio, Mike (Michelle) Walls of Hope and Ada and Annette Parton of Franklin; nineteen Great-grandchildren and 33 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Burch was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Willard,
Albert, Alva M. and Russell E. Henderson. sisters Mabel C. Beabout and Edna M Swengel.
half sister Gladys Flannigan, half brother Charles Butler and grandchildren David Parton, Steven Zeilinga and Russell Walls.
