Louise Bumbalough, 86 of Columbus died Tuesday September 8, 2009 at Columbus Regional Hospital at 3:55 pm.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
A graveside Service will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm central time at Skurlock Cemetery in Doyle, TN where she will be buried next to her husband. The service will be officiated by Glenn Hughes. Visitation will be Friday from 3:30-7:30 pm. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Memorials may be donated to Skurlock Cemetery through the funeral home.
Born in White Co., TN on June 3, 1923, Mrs. Bumbalough was the daughter of Ransom and Flora Spakes Wright. She married Willie Vestal Bumbalough on March 13, 1943 and they moved to Columbus in 1947. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Survivors include sons, Ronnie Bumbalough of Columbus and Rick(Cathy) Bumbalough of Bloomington; grandchildren, Jon(Erika) Bumbalough and Christopher and Kelli Bumbalough all of Bloomington and Craig(Dana) Bumbalough of Bedford and 3 great granddaughters. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and those special people she considered her family.
Mrs. Bumbalough was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings, Eunice Witt, Harvey and Vaughn Wright,
Nola Kuhn, Ethel Guy, Ova Cannon, Sally Myers, Willie Mae "Bill" Bumbalough and Eugene and Buryl Wright.
