Mabel K Parker's Obituary
Mabel K. Parker, 94 of Hope passed away Sunday September 15,
2013 at Millers Merry Manor.
She was a member of Newbern United Methodist Church.
Born April 22, 1919 in Bullitt County, Kentucky, Mabel was the
daughter of John and Rosa Yanner Wyatt. She married Carl Parker
December 3, 1938 and he preceded her in death February 5, 1993.
Survivors include daughters Patricia (Harlan) Ollestad of Columbus
and Madonna Burton of Edinburgh; sons David Parker of Newbern,
Richard (Alta) Parker of Scipio, Gregory Parker of Columbus and Charles
(Tammy) Parker of Columbus; Twenty grandchildren and several great
grandchildren.
A private family visitation at Norman Funeral Home followed by a private family graveside service at Bearcreek Cemetery will be held.
Memorial contributions may be donated to American Diabetes Association.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a
brother Robert Wyatt.
