Obituary

Marian Francis Judy, 97 of Greensburg passed away at 2:00a.m. June 22, 2010 at Crown Pointe Assisted Living in Greensburg.
Mrs. Judy was a former resident of Hope. She was a member of Hope Moravian Church where she had taught sunday school . She had also attended the Presbyterian Church in Greensburg, had been a 4-H leader and member of the Decatur County Christian Women's Assn. She received the Paul Harris Fellow award from the Stevens Point , Wisconsin Rotary Club and James E. West Award from Hoosier Trails Council of Boys Scouts od America.
She was a graduate of St. Paul High School and had an associates degree from IUPUC. She loved needle work, reading, world travel and gardening.
The funeral will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Norman Funeral Home with the Rev. David Crowley officiating. Calling will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hope Moravian Church or Crown Pointe Assisted Living.
Born in Johnson Co. on December 21, 1912 , Mrs. Judy was the daughter of Sherman and Mary Alice Burgetti Nail. She married Benton F. Judy on July 12, 1930 and he preceded in death on May 27, 1970.
Survivors include children Richard B. ( Mary Lou) Judy of Stevens Point, WI.,
Patrica Ann Blackwell of Charlotte, N.C., Barbara F. Sherman of Orange, CA., and Karen S. Templeron of Greensburg; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and a brother Julian K Nail of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by brothers Leon H., Adrian B., and James H. Nail and sisters Doris L. Wolverton and Florence E. Steiner.
