Maribell J. Andrews, 93, or Columbus, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home.

Maribell had retired from being a secretary in the main office and superintendent's office with the Flat Rock - Hawcreek School Corporation.

She is a member of St. Louis Crossing Independent Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, and was an outstanding cook. She was an avid fan of her grandchildren's sporting events.

Born on August 8, 1927 in St. Louis Crossing, Maribell was the daughter of Homer and Enid Selch Scofield. She married Howard Andrews on September 15, 1946.

Survivors include her husband, Howard of Columbus; children, Marie (Bill) Hill of Columbus, Delores (Warren) Mahaffey of Hope, and Sandy (Tom) Miller of Hope; grandchildren, Jason (Lori) Hill, Matt (Kathy) Hill, Casey (Mason) Bolton, Cory Mahaffey, Justin (Emilee) Miller, Chad (Nicole) Miller, Jacob (Rochelle) Miller, Gabe (Erika) Miller, and Adam (Marie) Miller; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Maribell is preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Homer Scofield, Jr.; and sister, Velma Hearne.

A private viewing and service will be held Friday with Pastor Tim Dillingham officiating. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
