Marion T. Anderson, 78 of Hope died Saturday February 21, 2009 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was retired from truck driving and had worked for various companies including Estes Material Sales in Hope. He loved all sports. The funeral will be conducted Thursday February 26 at 11:00 am at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Tim Tallent officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday from 4:00- 8:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hope Moravian Cemetery. Memorials may be donated to Bartholomew Co. American Cancer Society at 4567 Progress Park Dr., Col., IN 47201 or through the funeral home. He married Roberta Herron on August 1, 1964 and she preceded him in death on April 25, 2001. Survivors include daughters, Linda(Mark) Henderson of Edinburgh and Lisa Anderson of Hope; sons, Brent(Lisa) Anderson of Hope and Jeff Anderson of Westport; a brother, Ed Anderson of Seymour and grandchildren, Sarah, Lindsey, Elizabeth and Hayley Anderson of Columbus, Brooke, Michelle and Derrick Tindall of Hope and Coltan Henderson of Edinburgh. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother, Bill Anderson and 2 sisters, Mattie Frazee and Clara Fleetwood.
