Marjorie Evelyn Goins, 82, of Columbus, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mrs. Goins formerly worked at CP Electronics and Cummins Engine Co.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Ogilville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Zetterberg officiating.
Calling will be at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Ogilville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Born in Columbus June 28, 1928, Mrs. Goins was the daughter of Sanford and Nellie Clark Anderson. She married Elmer K. Goins in October of 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 13, 2010.
Survivors include daughters, Paulette (Gene) Foldenauer and Clarice Wilks of Columbus; a son, David (Lea) Goins of Columbus; grandchildren, Tom and Tony Wilks, Wendy (Clinton) Hiatt, Gary (Michelle) Foldenauer, Lisa (Steve) Thompson, Rick (Lynn) Reese, Kyra (Matt) Myers, Nellie (Ryan) Stout and Katy Goins; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Judith Reese; a brother, Gene Anderson; and a sister, Adella Fitzpatrick.
