Martha Lee George, 56 of Whitepine, TN died Sunday
December 14 at Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown, TN.

She was born December 27, 1957 in Fentress County, TN.
She was the daughter of John and Mittie Stephens. She married
Jerry George May 5, 1984 and he preceded her in death
June 8, 2011.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Disabled Veterans.

Martha enjoyed singing, worshiping the Lord and reading her
bible.

Survivors include; children, Samantha Strum of North Vernon,
Tommy Morrison and Keith George of Clifford, Jessica Hill,
Jonathon George and Lawrence Stephens, all of Columbus;
siblings, Jane Lehman of Crossville, TN, Jesse Stephens of Hope,
Patricia Raleigh of Ola, AR, Tootsie Stephens of Columbus and
Peggy Seal of Whitepine, TN; step children, Cindy Miller, Sandy
Norris and Nick George; ten grandchildren, nine step grandchidren,
seven great step children.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two
sons, Ewell George and Jerry Stephens and a step sister, Helen
Lenze.
