Marty Wiedersatz, 60 of Columbus passed away Thursday June 26, 2008 at 11:00 p.m.
at his home.
Marty was born December 15, 1947 at Northeim, Germany to Fred and Julia Schulz
Wedersatz . St Peters Lutheran Church of Columbus sponsored his family to come to the
United States in 1952 and he became at U.S. citizen at age 16.
He graduated in 1966 from Columbus High School and went to work for his father in the heating and air conditioning business later owning his own business Wiedersatz Heating
and Air Conditiong. He was a member of Columbus Moose Lodge and loved boating.
On April 3, 1971 Marty married Teresa Herron of Hope at St. Peters Lutheran Church.
They had two sons Hanz ( Chrysty) Wedersatz of Hope and Nick Wiedersatz of Columbus,
Ohio. He has one grandson Hagan Wiedersatz of Hope.
He is also survived by his mother Julia Wiedersatz of Ft. Myers, Fla., brothers John
Weiderstaz of Jeffersonville and Karl Weidersatz of Ft. Myers. Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of Martys life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 30 at Norman Funeral Home in
Hope. Calling will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Cremation is planned at a later date.
