M. Louise Bolander, 88 of Columbus, died Sunday January 23, 2011
at Keepsake Village in Columbus.
She was retired from the former Home Federal Bank in Hope.
She was a member of the Garden City Church of Christ, a homemakers
extension club in Hope and a volunteer for many organizations and her church.
She loved to paint and recite poems.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 am at Norman Funeral Home in Hope
with Virgil Coltfelter officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 -7 pm and Wed. from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to Garden City Church of Christ.
Mrs. Bolander was born on December 27, 1922. Her parents were Harry and
Beulah Smith. She married James Bolander on October 5, 1947 and he preceded
her in death in 2004.
Survivors include a son, Deryl Bolander of Columbus; a daughter, Phyllis (William)
Riche of Columbus; grandchildren, Sam (Epha) Riche of Greenwood, Steve Riche and
Erica (Randy) Purvis of Columbus and James, Charles and Mary Bolander of Kendallville
and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, her husband, two brothers, and one sister.
