Mary Kay Everroad, 68 of Hope passed away Saturday June 20, 2009 at 11:40 pm at her son's home.
She had previously been a bookkeeper at The Edinburgh State Bank.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hope. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Calling will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 and on Thursday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery west of Clifford.

Born on June 12, 1941 in Bartholomew, Co., Mrs. Everroad was the daughter of Ilaf and Ruth Nading Ritchison. She married
M Joseph Everroad February 21, 1961 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2007.
Survivors include sons, Joseph Everroad of New Castle, Brian (LaDonna) Everroad of Greenwood and Eric (Kim) Everroad of Hope; grandchildren, Matthew, Tiffany, David, Stephanie, Stephen, Joshua, Ashley, Michael, Timmy, Brian III, Robert and Shawna Everroad and Jesica Powers; great grandson, Little Stevie Everroad and brother, Ilaf Junior Ritchison of Columbus.
Mrs. Everroad was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
