Mary M. Harris' Obituary
Mary M. Harris, 84 of Columbus passed away Monday December 28, 2009 at 1:17 am at Hospice of South Central Indiana.
She had been a homemaker.
She was a member of New Hope Christian Church. She loved gardening and quilting.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Tim Jarnagin officiating. Calling will be Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery in Flat Rock, IN.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association. Online condolences may be sent to the Harris family at www.normanfuneralhome.net.
Born April 27, 1925 in Johnson County, Mrs. Harris was the daughter of Frank and Eugenia Galbraith Huntsman. She married Robert H. Harris December 8, 1945. He preceded her in death December 15, 2003.
Survivors include a daughter, Mickey Harris May of Columbus; a son Robert Scott Harris of Columbus; a grandson, Ryan Scott Harris of Columbus and a brother, Glen "Dutch" (Dean) Huntsman of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Walter, Floyd, Jim, Oscar and Gene Huntsman and a sister Florence Barkes
