Matthew Colby Zollman's Obituary
Matthew Colby Zollman, 25, of Hope, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at his home.
Matthew had been an electrician with Zollman Electric Service. He loved playing his guitar ,fishing, hunting, NASCAR and all sports. He also loved spending time with his close friends who he considered his brothers.
A celebration of Matt's life will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until service time. Cremation will follow the service.
On Sept. 8, 1987, in Columbus, Matt was born to his mother, Julie Zollman, and raised by his mother and dad, Brian Simcox. They both survive.
Other survivors include aunts and uncles, Jackie Fettig of Nashville, TN, Ron Zollman of Westport, Kyle (Lisa) Zollman of Columbus, Kevin (Stephanie) Bishop of Columbus, and Joe Willock of Hope; a great-aunt, Helen Hendrickson of Hope; cousins, Tiffany and Justin Zollman of Columbus and Jessica Imlay of Hope; a sister, Jessica Michael of Florida; a neice and nephew, Hannah and Hunter Mills of Florida; grandparents, Harold and Colleen Zollman of Hope; and his dog, Roxann.
Matthew was preceded in death by a grandmother, Alice Zollman; and a great-grandmother, Hazel Hendrickson.
