Rev. Max Edward Zell, 81, of Hope died Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 6:05 am at Miller's Merry Manor in Hope. He was a retired minister and a member of the Hope First Wesleyan Church. He married Donna Switzer on June 22, 1958 in Greenleaf, Idaho. The funeral will be conducted Monday March 9 at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Revs. Ed Boston and Bob Henderson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00 pm until service time. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery north of Hope. Survivors include his wife, Donna Switzer Zell of Hope; children Yvonne(Robert) Henderson of Somerset, PA, Gary(Becky) Zell of Flat Rock, IN, and Lois(Richard) Willoughby of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Adam Henderson of Somerset,PA, Aaron Zell of Flat Rock, Brian & Heather Willoughby of Elkhart, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
