Michael D. Floyd, 68 of Columbus passed away Tuesday July 9, 2024 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Michael was born December 9, 1955.  He married Debra Decker July 3, 1994 and she survives.

Other survivors include a son, Jason (Danielle) Williams of Hope and grandchildren, Daniel and Dilyn Wiseman and Makynze Williams.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Al and Alberta Floyd  and a twin brother, Patrick Floyd.

Michael was retired and his employment had been a pattern engineer at Cunningham Patterns and Essex Casting.

There will be a celebration of Michael's life Saturday July 13 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville, 9118 S. Main St., Taylorsville, IN 47280.  It will be conducted by Pastor Tom Collett.  Service arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.

Michael enjoyed fishing and go kart racing and loved his dogs.

Memorial contributions in memory of Michael may be donated to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
