Mildred Ann "Susie" Childers, 59 of Columbus passed away Wednesday January 21, 2009 at Hospice of South Central Indiana. She was employed at Walmart as a cashier. She was a collector of Elvis memorabilia. She loved sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Saturday January 24 at 1:30 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Gerald Hancock officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until service time on Saturday. Born on April 10, 1949 in Monticello, Ky. Mrs. Childers was the daughter of Albert Lee and Josephine Anderson Miller and they preceded her in death. Survivors include; daughters, Tammy Childers Lane of Columbus and Tracy Childers (Mike) Nading of Hope; twin brother, Danny Miller of Nineveh, IN and brother Gale Miller of Virginia; grandchildren, Nakisha and Natisha Brantley and Avery Lane all of Columbus and Chelsey, David, Mika, Kennedy and Zoee Nading all of Hope and a great grandson, Braxton Hayes of Columbus.
