Minnie L. Stitt, 87, of Columbus died Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.

Born December 18, 1933 in Bartholomew County, Minnie was the daughter of Jetta and Freida Stater Olmstead.

She married Lee Roy Stitt August 8, 1957 and he preceded her in death February 27, 1986.

Minnie loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by sons, Bill Stitt of Columbus and Rick Olmstead of North Vernon; a brother Glenn Olmstead of Hope; 4 grandchildren;

8 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a private family graveside service at Flat Rock Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clifford, Floyd and Marshall Olmstead and a sister, Edna Wood.
