Morris E. Norman, 73, of Hope, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He was co-owner of Norman Funeral Home.
Born March 23, 1946 in Columbus, Morris was the son of Eugene "Gene" and Elizabeth Morris Norman.
He grew up attending Hope United Methodist Church and attended The Cross of Hope.
Morris was an avid Hauser sports fan and attended all the sports he could. He was also an avid IU fan. He loved watching the Colts, Pacers, and NASCAR. Morris enjoyed eating lunch everyday at The Corner Café or Willow Leaves of Hope.
To honor Morris's wishes, a private family service will take place. A public graveside service at Hope Moravian Cemetery will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
Memorials may be donated to Hauser Athletic Department or The Hope Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include nephew, Andy Norman (Kaitlin Hossom) of Nashville, IN; niece, Ashley (Braden) Loyd of Columbus; great-nephew, Anderson John Loyd of Columbus; and sister-in-law, Suzie "Suzie-Q" Norman of Hope.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lib Norman; brother, John Norman; and companion, Paulette Kelley.
