Nancy C. Hogan Gilbert, 50, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Kindred South in Greenwood.

She was the loving wife of Charles Gilbert, who she married on February 14, 1985.

Born January 11, 1963, in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the daughter of Earl L. and Alma Benthal Hogan.

She had been an operations manager in the furniture business and was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ.

She loved all animals and always had dogs and cats.

Nancy is survived by her husband Charles; brothers, Richard L. Hogan of Mount Clemons, MI, Roger E. Hogan of Clarksville, TN, Terry L. Hogan of Blythewood, SC, and Robert N. Hogan of Cumming, GA; a sister, Patricia D. Hogan of Woburn, MA; and an aunt, Helen Bolander.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Nelson and Mamie Hogan.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date and her remains will be buried at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Arrangements are being made by Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
