Naomi L. Shepherd, 81, of Columbus passed away January 21, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born in Decatur County, Naomi was the daughter of Glenn B. Wolford and Hettie Wolford Jacobs.

She had previously been employed at Saps Bakery as a machine operator.

She was a member of The Rebekahs for over 60 years.  She enjoyed scrapbooking and many other crafts.  She also loved to bake.

Naomi is survived by children, Jennifer (Jeff) McNealy of Greensburg and Rodger Shepherd of Greensburg; grandchildren, Jacob (Hailey) Shepherd of Greensburg, Ethan Shepherd (Brandi) of Columbus and Sarah Shepherd of Speedway; one great grandchild and a brother, Steve Wolford of Cincinnati, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glenn B. Wolford, Jr.; sister, baby girl Wolford and longtime companion, Charles Hedrick.

A funeral service for Naomi will be Friday, January 28 at 12:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Public visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 12:00.  The family requires that masks be worn in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Lower Union Presbyterian Cemetery.

The family requests that no flowers be sent and monetary donations be donated to Riley's Children's Hospital or donor's choice.
