Nena M. Robertson's Obituary
Nena M. Robertson, 82, of Hope, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor.
Born October 8, 1930, in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of George C. and Della Danner Burnes. She married Robert E. "Lefty" Robertson October 16, 1948, in Princeton, IN. He preceded her in death February 9, 1990.
Nena enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and watching sports on TV.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Tim Tallent officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include a daughter, Deb Martin of Hope; sons, Conrad (Irma) Robertson of Greenwood and Craig (Joetta) Robertson of Hope; grandchildren, Rebecca (Steve) McKinney of Hope, Wesley (Kristy) Martin of Ogilville, Derrick (Amelia) Robertson of Fort Wayne, Rachel (Jay) McNicholas and Joanna (Adam) Newman, both of Franklin, and Gaige Robertson of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Beau, Squire and Ruby McKinney, Brilynn, Casen and Karver Martin, Faith, Luke and Emma Robertson, Brooks and Riley McNicholas, Cooper and Colin Newman and Ethan Quire; and sisters, Helen Weaver of Shelbyville and Naomi Heuer of Waldron.
Nena was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Lefty" Robertson; four grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn Weaver, Ruby Thayer and Margaret McGrew.
